Operation Hot Soup

The Chiefs are off this week, so that leaves Sunday, November 24, open for you to help! We're in contact with Free Hot Soup to help serve up some soup, chili, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts. We are also wanting volunteers to bring some gently used clothing, coats, and blankets, and put together bags of necessities (toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitizer, etc) for the unhoused community. 

Free Hot Soup is a Facebook group with the simple goal of sharing with those in need in the Kansas City metro. Free Hot Soup shares meals with the unhoused community and often provides and alternative welcoming resource to those who choose not to be affiliated with other existing resources for whatever reason.

We'll be serving at Ilus W Davis Park, 1000 Locust St, Kansas City, Missouri 64106, and meetup at Casual Animal Brewing, 1725 McGee St Kansas City, Missouri 64108, after serving.
Servers
We will need volunteers to help serve and to bring some food to serve from 1:30pm until 3:30pm. You can sign up to bring any of the food below or just to help serve and lend an ear.
